Just a little less she says,
The food makes my weight a mess,
Just for today,
I'll eat a little less...
Days go by and she grows thinner,
The boys take notice,
Use her then leave her,
The girls come flocking and they pretend to stay,
But they bitch about her and her 'queer' ways,
The habit's sticking and her frame gets lighter,
Her head gets dizzy and she feels higher,
Her lips get pale but she only ties her belt tighter,
In the end it all comes down when the blackout gets her,
When she wants to eat, her body won't let her,
Her heart's failing and she won't get better,
She stares in the mirror,
Doesn't know the girl looking back at her,
"Too late to think that I deserved better."
Now she knows that it never mattered.
