Stranger in my head

there's a stranger in my head,
she bleeds colours,
dyes my dreams a rainbow parade,
tears down the fortress and slate gray walls,
sings and shouts,

as she runs through the halls,
she carols and trills,
brings in the light,
drives out the chills,
i know her not, yet she is me,
the child like innocence that i have failed to see,
beautiful transient butterflies of memory,
she is the truthbringer,
the uncynical, loving side of me.
