And I looked into his midnight eyes,
Not knowing I was falling deeper,
For his lies,
With every move he made me believe,
His promises he intended to keep,
I was fooled,
As we all were,
So now the scars run their roots,
Shallowly into my memory,
Like a poisonous creeper.
