For the ones who were broken,
Beyond the nightmares,
They dreamed of an endless abyss,
Of loneliness,
And an infinite sorrow,
That drowned their scorched days,
And misty nights in a loveless haze,
Trapped,
They hang low in shame,
Never daring to rise again,
Only breathing shallowly,
The air that filled their lungs with pain.
