Summer heat

So what do we do now?
The endless skies,
Tinged in its perpetual blue,
They wrap around us,
In unending heat,
While cats laze,
Far away from the glare,
With lolling tongues,
They breathe,
The same,
Hot, humid air,
So what do we do now?
Caught in the blaze of summer heat.
