Why am I crying?

Maybe I expect too much,
Maybe it's gone,
And I can't love the way I did,
Or even trust,
The broken pieces still remain,
And although you try,
But it's too heavy to make any change,
You can't make the damage go away,
But maybe you're not even trying,
If love's supposed to be happy,
Then why am I crying?
