Your light

I've shown you all there is to me,
Yet you retaliate by hiding what I needed to see,
To your light, my darkness I revealed,
Yet your light blinded me,
And your secrets remained concealed,
I believed your light would help me chase away,
These bitter shadows my heart has known every day,
But I forgot that light creates,
Only more shadows,
This time filled with rage and hate.
