Glossy pages

She looks at the glossy pages,
Beautiful faces,
Expensive places,
Exquisite tastes,
That she cannot afford,
Looks in the mirror,
Tears out the papers,
With tears in her eyes,
Because she isn't so pretty afterall,
Her mirror is telling her lies,
And the magazines are the only things that are right .
