YES!!!! I'm BACK!!!! I'm FREE!!!! WHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Well free till I start working part time or something anyway. I have stuff piled up for me to do still and a monster mess of a desk to clean too. But finally it is over.
I came home today and slept for 2 hours straight before waking up and pigging out for lunch. Hey, I deserve it. My weight dropped from 50kg to 47kg in the short span of say 3-4 days. Amazing what being sick can do to you. Not that I intend to repeat that episode, ugh.
But I am glad that I only weigh 47kg in my heaviest jeans now *does a happy dance* and I painted my nails a bright turquoise, washed my hair to clean squeakiness, read Throne of Glass (I've been dying to get my hands on it since a long time ago and it's goooooood, move over Hunger Games). Oh and I read Koizora the manga for the first time. Sappy and overly dramatized in some chapters but overall rating for romance manga lovers, I give it an 8 and a half. IT MADE ME CRY! Surprise surprise eh. I hardly ever cry while reading manga or books so if the storyline does that to me, yeah it's good. I intend to finish the rest of it tonight (trust me, I'm a speed reader) and then continue with Heroes of Olympus:The Mark of Athena tomorrow. Wonder if I'll make it...not that there's a real rush or anything. Just the thrill of reading it fast and getting all of the story into my brain a.s.a.p is amazing. For the record, I read the dictionary too. I just don't make it a habit to do it where people can see me or they start thinking that A) I'm a freak or B) I'm English illiterate. I hate B more than A. Please, I may be a freak, but don't insult my intelligence. I was taught how to speak English even before I could crawl. So many people have the misconception that just because you're born Chinese you automatically have to know how to speak its main dialects. *mutters to self*
Well, I haven't exactly been at home all day so I haven't written anything much today, no excerpts or poems, sorry to disappoint. I'll try to find something to scribble tomorrow if my brain permits. And the internet line as well. In the meantime, I'm just glad to be free...now back to my dearest darling book...
